Nearly everyone loves chocolate, right? Let’s give those chocolate lovers a reason to travel throughout the Southwest Montana region and visit a variety of communities. Not only will these chocolate connoisseurs be treated to chocolate delights and the joy of getting off the beaten path, they will receive rewards in the form of, for example, stickers and/or hats for visiting a certain number of Trail businesses (number TBD based on business participation).
You’re invited to become a stop on the upcoming Chocolate-Lovers’ Trail!
Why Participate?
- Inclusion in all Trail materials including posters, “passports,” and a Trail-dedicated page on SouthwestMT.com.
- Visitors to your business who might not have made the stop otherwise.
- The Trail will also be promoted by Visit Southwest Montana through paid advertising and in the annual Southwest Montana travel guide!
Requirements for Becoming an Official Stop on the Trail
- Must offer a free chocolate-inspired sample to all Trail visitors. These items can include things like chocolate candy, beer and chocolate pairings at a brewery, chocolate treats from a bakery, chocolate-scented candles—it’s really only limited by your imagination.
- Willingness to sign off on visitor passports that they’ll use to track their progress across the Trail.
- Willingness to familiarize yourself and your staff with the Trail and to keep information regarding the Trail prominent in your establishment. This could include stickers, posters, passport cards, etc.
